Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
As we head into April Break, I want to share the recent edition of The Beat.
The latest edition of The Beat celebrates and showcases music across the District, highlighting the talent, creativity, and dedication of student musicians and educators.
I would also like to take a moment to thank the Southborough community for its engagement and support at the Southborough Annual Town Meeting held on Saturday, April 1, 2026.
A key part of the meeting was the consideration of school budgets that support students, staff, and schools in Southborough and the Northborough-Southborough Regional School District. I am pleased to share that voters approved the Southborough Public Schools budget and the Town’s assessment of the Northborough-Southborough Regional School District budget.
In addition to the operating budgets, the District's capital articles were approved, which is great news. The capital projects will help maintain and improve the learning environments that students and staff rely upon each day.
I would also like to express my appreciation to the boards, committees, and volunteers whose time and effort help make Town Meeting possible and whose work throughout the budget development process supports informed decision-making. In particular, thank you to the School Committee, Select Board, Advisory Committee, Town staff, and all those who contributed to the planning process.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support throughout the school year. I hope you and your family have a restful, enjoyable April Break.
